WW2 MARINE CORPS SERIAL RANGE SPRINGFIELD U.S. M1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE CIRCA 1943. Serial numbered in the 1,828,XXX range produced in November 1943 with most going to the 3rd and 5th Marine Divisions. Vietnam era rebuild with 1963 dated barrel. Old barely visible import stamp on barrel behind front sight. Very good overall moderate wear. Stock with encircled “P” proof on inside of pistol grip. Good working order and good bright bore.
