WW2 GERMAN MAUSER K98K CODE 42/1940 8MM SNIPER RIFLE. Mauser-Werke make. All original and matching bring back with no import markings. Serial number in the 93xx range. Barrel correctly stamped “40/DO/3/WaA655/WaA655/WaA655/*” and with matching serial number. Bolt matching. Matching stock and forend with correct WaA655 Waffenampt. Receiver tapped for the Nazi short rail “Sweden” mount. Very good plus overall with much blue with even patina mixed in. Wood with the original lightly worn finish. Working order. Bore with moderate fowling but strong rifling. Will clean up well.
