PRE-WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. M1 OR M-1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE CIRCA NOVEMBER 1939. Serial numbered in the 19,xxx range. Commercial rebuild of early Gas Trap using reproduction and original parts. Has early type stock with correct inspector’s cartouche (SA/SPG) for the period of production as well as the circled “P” proof on the pistol grip. Correct style butt plate without trap. Looks very near mint with all the Parkerizing and finish on the stock. Shows almost no use with excellent bore and tight working order. Top quality Model 1907 U.S. “HOYT/1917” leather sling. Extra nice condition overall.
