SOLD. Hi BROWNING MODEL 53 DELUXE. Chambered in 32-20. Faithful reproduction of the Winchester Model 53 mfg. 1924-1932. Only 5,000 manufactured in 1990. And this is THE best one you will ever find. Gorgeous and 100% NEW in Serial numbered Box with manual. High-polish deep blue. 7-shot magazine. Have only levered the gun a few times to oil, but the action is butter-smooth. These 53’s came with fitted with high-grade walnut, but the fore ends often didn’t match the butt stock. This example has the nicest wood I’ve ever seen on one of these 53’s. Near Exhibition-grade heavily figured on both sides and the fore end has matching figure and color. Check out the pics, and if you want to see more of anything, let me know. Any anomolies in the pics are oil, glare, dust particles or reflection. Another Model 53 with nice wood but advertised as lightly used with NO BOX sold just two weeks ago on GB for $1209. You can own this NIB example for $1350 + shipping. Shipping this rifle with the original box intact will of course require an oversized shipping box, so FedEx or UPS could cost $100+, depending on the destination. Located near Dallas/Waco/East & NE TX, so meeting for a legal in-person sale could work for a Texas resident. I'm not a dealer — just an older guy wanting to pass along a highly collectible classic lever gun to another enthusiast. Payment in US Postal MO's only. If you have been looking for a Browning Model 53, you'll find no disappointments with this rifle, but must be returned UNFIRED IN EXACT SAME "NIB" CONDITION at BUYER'S EXPENSE. I haven't sold much recently, but have 100% rating on GI and GB.
