Description:
General Specs: Winchester, Year 1962, 20 Gauge, 7lbs, Chokes WS1, LOP 14", DAH 2 1/4", DAC 1 1/2"
Serial Number: 1934866

The Winchester Model 12 is a famed gun for upland game and clay target games, having won many National Championships on the trap and skeet fields.  Known throughout the world as the very finest pump action shotgun ever made, these guns were hand fitted and machined to perfection.  From the skeet and trap fields to the upland bird cover, even in the 4 major wars, the Model 12 has been a favorite of American gunners for over 100 years.  The Model 12 SKEET GRADE we are showing here, sn1934866 built in 1962, is in exceptional condition with 99% factory blue on the barrel, receiver, and trigger guard.  The wood is beautifully figured XXX black walnut that has a near perfect finish.  The finish was flaking so we added finish to the stock to make the wood match the condition of the metal.  The wood is original to the gun.  The gun has 26” barrel choked WS-1 and the proper 3-pin, duck-bill ventilated rib, and a skeet style stock with a metal capped pistol grip and the SKEET style checkering.  This is not such a valuable gun that you could not have some fun going out to shoot some game or clays, and the gun will still hold its value.  The WS-1 choke is superb for grouse, woodcock, quail, and any upland birds hunted with fine dogs.  And of course, it is a superb SKEET gun!  We have priced her to sell, so don’t hesitate or your opportunity will be gone.  Thanks for looking!
