This rifle was produced around 1915. The rifle's serial number is E 4275. It has the 30 inch infantry barrel chambered for the 7 m/m Argentine cartridge, also called the 7.65 x 53 Mauser. The original front sight and muzzle cover is serial numbered to this gun. The original sighting or test target is also serial numbered to this rifle. This is a new as unissued rifle! All the serial numbers match including the cleaning rod. Many of the small parts have that vivid nitre blued finish. The original bluing is stunning! This rifle looks like it just came out of the original shipping crate! The bolt face shows no sign of ever being fired after the five rounds fired at the test target. The bore is minty and bright. There is no blue loss or age spots. The stock and hand guard have no dents or damage. All of the original wood finish is intact. The burnished steel receiver and bolt have no rust spots or blemishes. The Argentina crest is intact on top of the receiver ring. This is a incredible stunning rifle that still has it's matching muzzle cover and test target! It would be near impossible to top this rifle for the condition and matching accessories! This rifle with it's original target would make a stunning display for a collectors gun room!
