This Colt Single Action Artillery Model has some early numbered parts.The frame bears the Serial Number 8265, the trigger guard 1201, and backstrap 1240, all of which are Ainsworth inspected.When the ejector housing is removed, the numbers 7624 are found, but no "A" inspector so it makes be believe this is the barrel from number 17624, and there is a "C" and a "P". The cylinder is marked "DFC". The grips have ben refinished at what time or another Mechanically functions well. A nice Colt Artillery with the desriable early serial numbers!
