This is a fantastic 8mm German Mauser, GEW 98, 8mm caliber built circa mid 1930's. It retains 90% of the original blue metal finish. It has a 29.5 inch barrel. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The serial number is 7451. The overall condition is clean with normal dings and scratches for a gun of this vintage and proginy. The photographs represent the various armory stamps and cartouches. This gun was evaluated by the Guns International appraiser. This gun was appraised at $1,200.00 retail value.
