Description:
This set of cleaning rods are designed to be carried in the trap door of the butt plate. This rod set is scaled down for the small bore rifles such as the 32 W.C.F, 32 W.S, 32-40 and the 30 W.C.F. The model Winchesters would be the 1873 Special Order 1892 and 1894 series rifles that were fitted with trap door butt plates. Each of the four segments measure 7 1/2 inches for a total of 30 inches. The wiping tip end has a cut slot with tapered ends. The end of the rod is rounded. The handle end has the brass cap. this set shows use and age. The sections screw together tightly. there is no damage or bent sections. This is a very nice complete rifle cleaning rod set. The small bore cleaning rod sets are very rare to find today! This set would make any Winchester collector very happy to have to complete their rifle. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
