- 29 5/8” Nitro Proved (1 1/8 oz max) Damascus Barrels; Bored Approx. True Cylinder in Both; Wall Thickness .023+ in Both Barrels
- Best Quality Bar Action Rebounding Hammer Converted from Pinfire
- Straight Hand Stock with 1 5/8” DAC, 2 3/16” DAH, AND 14 7/8” LOP; Checkered Butt with Heel and Toe Plates
- Splinter Forend with Cross-Tenon Fastener
- Weight 6 lb. 7 oz.
- Records on Provenance of the Gun indicated that it was originally delivered to Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie in September 1868. The Grandson of Sir David Carnegie - 4th Baronet Carnegie of Kinnaird, 1st Earl of Southesk (and Dickson customer), Claud gained the Rank of Major in the 5th Brigade, Scottish Division, Royal Artillery and held the office of Justice of the Peace for both Forfarshire and Devonshire.
