William Powell & Son Patent Snap Action Lift Lever Anson/Deeley 12ga Shotgun. 2 3/4" CHAMBERS. With Copy of original July 26, 1883 Powell Invoice, No. 2 of a Pair, original Damascus barrels were replaced with steel by W, Powell & Son ca.1903, Birmingham Proof. Then, the 1903 barrels were Sleeved, gun refinished and LONDON NITRO PROOFED in 1991, 850 Bar service pressure with 70mm chambers (stamped in barrel flats). Chokes: Right .003 Skeet and Left .012 IC. Extractors. Dolls Head rib extention, Leather covered recoil pad, In excellent condition and out shooting clays. Barrels - Bore = .722, Wall Thickness. = .038, Believe original stock. BEAUTIFUL WOOD, Stock's silver oval has had initials sanded off. Action TIGHT and snappy, Fun to shoot modern target ammo. No FFL needed for sale. PERIOD GUN CASE: Very good with aging and handling marks on leather. Best oak with leather cover, as described in the 1883 Invoice, but different initials on leather aplique. Includes newer accessories and label. History Online: "Wiliam Powell Guns" or "Story of William Powell - Six Generations of Gunmaking". Patent #1 in 1864 - Powell Snap Action Lift Lever.
