Description:
In 1977 Smith & Wesson celebrated their 125th Anniversary with the introduction of the Model 25-3 125th Anniversary Commemorative, of which 10,000 were manufactured.  The 6-shot double action revolvers were fitted with a 6 1/2 inch barrel, red-ramp front sight, white out-line adjustable rear sight, target hammer and trigger, smooth factory Cocobolo target grips with S&W medallions, were built on the large "N" frame, blue finished, chambered in .45 LC, and had unique "SMITH & WESSON 1852-1977 125 YEARS" shield roll stamped on the side plate and "SMITH & WESSON 125TH ANNIVERSARY" roll stamped on the right side of the barrel.  The guns came with a wood presentation case with "SMITH & WESSON 125th Anniversary Commemorative 1852 - 1977" stamped onto a inlayed brass plaque, nickel silver medallion, and a Roy G. Jinks "125 YEARS WITH SMITH & WESSON" book.  This Model 25-3 has been shot and is in excellent original condition, retaining 99% of its original blue finish, with a slight drag line on the cylinder, and a few minor handling marks.  The grips look almost like new, with only a few very minor handling dings.  The bore looks as new and the action is tight.  The book and medallion appear as new and the case is in very good condition, with assorted minor handling dings/scratches.  We have not seen one of these in years.                                                      PRICE:   $1,395              We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual FirearmFirearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                   NOTE:  No additional fee for a Credit Card payment.
