Description:
The Suomi M31 (Suomi-konepistooli literally meaning "Finland Machine-pistol") is a submachine gun of Finnish design that was used to fight off Soviet Forces during the winter war of 1940 and showed the world the importance of sub-machine guns to modern warfare. Used by mostly Finnish and Swedish armies, it was also widely exported into Baltic countries, some European and South American countries. Although manufacturing of the Suomi in Finland ceased in 1944, it was widely used throughout the world well into the 1990’s. This Suomi M31 has been converted to Semi-Automatic and fires 9mm parabellum rounds from a 36 round stick magazine or 71 round drum magazine. It is in excellent condition with a near perfect finish and beautiful wood stock. The action works flawlessly and features a bright bore with sharp visible rifling. This rifle comes with 1 drum and 2 stick magazines. If your in the market for a semi-automatic submachine gun this Finnish Suomi would be an excellent choice as these are hard to find now that the supply has dried up.
