Description:
Frame is in the 114k range. Trigger guard and cylinder match. The barrel has been cut like all artillery's are and has no number. Backstrap has a different number. Overall this gun is clean and sharp. Mostly a plum/brown patina. Traces of original finish in protected areas. Action functions nicely. Wood grips have a light coat of varnish added but are not undersized. Comes complete with Factory Letter stating it was shipped in January 21, 1885 with 100 guns. Has the typical US markings and a 3-line patent address. Includes an early US marked shoulder harness. Nice looking outfit.
