Description:
The Smith & Wesson Highway Patrolman is a classic. Mechanically it is the same revolver as the Smith & Wesson flag ship .357 magnum, the Model 27. The only difference is the finish and the Highway Patrolman lacks the checkered top strap and rib on the Model 27. It was designed and market as working gun for law enforcement with all the solid performance but in a slightly less flashy finish. This Model 28-2 features a pinned barrel, recessed cylinder and Magna grips all on Smith & Wesson large N-Frame. This revolver would make a fine addition to any collection. Manufactured circa 1975-77. .357 Magnum
