Description:
Very Scarce Remington Model 40X BR with a Leupold 24X BR Scope chambered in 6mm Bench Rest Caliber. The Original Owner was a well known Prolific Bench Rest Shooter throughout the US. I have included a list of the options provided, when available, through the Remington Custom Shop. Seeing Remington is no longer in business, I don't believe this gun could be built today. The last retail price on this gun through Remington was $6695 as you see it. the Original Owner shot 4-500 rounds through the gun in compition. You will also see the extension of the LOP for him by Remington with a Hogue Recoil Pad. You will also notice a 5&3/4" discoloration on the end of the forend where Remington also provided a Plastic Wrap to prevent damage to that area from shooting. The pastic wrap was removed prior to his selling it. Also included are 80 Loaded Rounds and 9 fired brass. The Overall condition of the gun is in the high 90% Range. Sorry, but no dies are available. Barrel Length 271/4"- LOP 13&1/4" with 2OZ Trigger.
