This Harrington & Richardson replica of Model of U.S. 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Cavalry Carbine is a single shot breech loading rifle in .45-70 Gov't. Cal. It has a 22 inch barrel. A blade front and folding adjustable rear sight. It has a smooth walnut straight grip butt stock with a grip adaptor and a smooth grip walnut forearm with a barrel band. It has a case color hardened receiver, lock plate, buttplate, trigger guard, rear sight and grip adaptor. The receiver and lock are engraved. There is a left side saddle ring. .45-70 Government
