The Smith & Wesson Model 57 was introduced in 1964 and discontinued in 1993 with the 57-4. Nickel finish was discontinued in 1986 with the 57-1. The revolver presented here is a Model 57 no dash and was most likely produced in 1978. This revolver has the usual excellent trigger, sights and handling of top of the line Smith & Wessons. .41 Remington Magnum
