Description:
Serial #C88446, .45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1917 manufactured pistol with that has a World War II era barrel, but otherwise has correct component parts and retains 92-95% of the original blue finish which has silvered slightly along the exposed edges and projections. There is some further mild freckling along the flat mainspring housing, a section of grayed metal on the frontstrap, and some mild scratch marks on the left side of the frame around the slide latch. The walnut double-diamond grips are in fine condition and have light wear on either side with some flattening of the points, mostly at the butt, and a few small handling marks here and there. A single WW1 contract, “R" marked, two-tone magazine is included and the pistol rates fine plus condition overall. This is a lovely pistol with lots of original finish remaining, and only needs a correct barrel to be complete and original. FFL or C&R
