The Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle was named the winner of the 2011 "Rifle of the Year Award" by the Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence. The Gunsite Scout includes a flash suppressor, picatinny rail for mounting optics, a 10-round detachable box magazine, patented integral scope mounts, and a Mauser-type extractor. Other features include a rugged, one-piece, stainless steel bolt; three-position safety; studs for mounting sling swivels; medium contour cold hammer-forged barrel; glass reinforced nylon trigger guard and magazine well. This Gunsite Scout has some field wear, but is in excellent condition overall. The action is smooth, the bore is bright with sharp visible rifling and comes equiped with a Vortex Crossfire 3-7x32mm variable power optic. This is an excellent brush gun in a solid caliber capable of dropping any game in North America.
