NEW LOWER PRICE: For your consideration: Colt Royal Combat Commander Talo Limited Edition chambered in .45 ACP. The pictures do not do this 1911 pistol justice. The combination of the Mammoth ivory grips with the shiny COLT ROYAL BLUE finish are absolutely beautiful. This retro themed 1911 pistol comes with the original Colt grips and is upgraded in finish and accuracy similar to TALO’s National Match Royal. It is listed as “EXCELLENT” condition. There have been less than 50 rounds fired through this handgun. Everything on this Colt handgun works 100% like the day it left the factory. All of the controls work perfectly and the slide goes into battery with authority. There were only 400 of these pistols produced and this particular item is #237 of 400 as evidenced by the special serial number (RCC0237). The Royal Combat Commander features a deep Royal Blue finish, slide & frame. The pistol sports an extended Colt single sided tactical safety, aluminum trigger, checkered mainspring housing, Gold Cup front strap serrations, a factory Gold Cup barrel and combat commander roll-mark. Note that both the two-tone hammer and grip safety are jeweled. The original Colt 1911 sights were replaced with a set of XS DXT Big Dot White Night Sights. The original wood Colt grips were replaced with a set of custom Dan Chinnock White Bark Mammoth Ivory grips valued at just over $400. The original grips (included in the box) are unique high polished dark burl with serpentine Colt logo and hex screws. Here is Colt’s description. TALO’s National Match Royal One of 400.
