Description:
A rare and extraordinary Model 70 in .22 Hornet. S/N 215*** with matching bolt made in 1952. This is a hard to find and highly desirable caliber in excellent 98% condition. The only notable mark on the gun is the all too familiar thin impression/base track from a previously mounted Lyman 48 receiver sight. The inner barrel channel, action area, and underside of the barrel are all spotless as well. The very unique internal components assigned to the Hornets are all completely correct with an H marked floor plate and intact chamber which has not been reamed to K Hornet nor any other caliber. 24" barrel with an excellent bore. Mechanics are like new. A very fine example!
