Description:
Springfield M1 Garand. Serial #4271579. SA JLG Stock Cartouche. It has a Barrel Date of S-A-4-52. Overall the rifle is original and has just been stored. It is not a CMP Rifle.
The leg of the receiver is chalk marked SA 1-65. It appears that the rear sight pinion was upgraded with an M14 pinion. Also possibly the op rod was changed out. Any questions please ask.
