"Colt 1902 .45 LC caliber revolver. Excellent 1902 Colt. Gun has approximately 98% of its arsenal refinish. U.S mark on frame. All markings are as new, no blurring, even the rampant Colt logo is perfect. 6" Barrel with perfect bore. In our opinion this is arsenal refinish because of the millwork in the frame and cylinder. This is indicative of arsenal work especially since the markings are so perfect and would have been applied after the clean up millwork took place. A Colt factory rework have Colt’s high luster polish, which this does not have. The gun has all the correct “RAC" (Rinaldo A. Carr) Inspector marks, which are also perfect. Front sight has correct “Feathering marks". We have owned many arsenal refinished Colts but this one is superior to all of our previous example. Very handsome example of a 1902 D.A.
