Description:
This .300 Sav Savage Model 99 rifle has a 24” blued tapered round barrel with a very good bore. The front sight is a fixed bead; the barrel is dovetailed for a rear sight but just has a filler installed. The action is smooth and locks up tight and the blued finish is intact, but fading along the barrel and receiver. The Walnut forend and checkered buttstock with a black plastic pistol grip cap are in good condition but do have some usage dents and scratches. The stock appears to have been extended by splicing another piece of wood on the back of the stock and then adding a Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. The rifle comes with a Bausch & Lomb 3-9X scope. Length of pull is 13-1/2”, overall length is 43-1/2”, and weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is A957. Will ship to any FFL in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
