Description:
For your consideration is this used Remington Model 8, .30 Remington Caliber. Overall condition is good, rifle functions properly and shoots good. The bore is good not dark or pitted but worn from use, rifling is consistent with photograph. The forearm screw is not correct because the forearm is a bit fatter then the original and there is no escutcheon.

Sling Swivels: Because this stock was inletted for a sling swivel base I installed one. To complement the stock swivel I bought a Judd barrel band/magazine band sling swivel. This swivel is not set in place, but needs to be positioned at the barrel jacket plug to prevent denting the barrel jacket. The Model 81 has a screw at this location for a sling swivel.
