This listing is for a very hard-to-find FN K98 22 Trainer, s/n: 1959, that was produced in 1952 as part of a 1000-gun contract for the Israeli Defense Force. These were full-size 98's fitted with an FN barrel and converted to single-shot.
This rifle is in outstanding condition, bluing and wood have been professionally refinished. 24" barrel, bore is excellent! Hooded front sight, ramp rear sight ranges from 25 to 200 meters in 25m increments, "13" is carved into the stock just in front of the floorplate (probably a rack number), "0.22" marked on right rear of stock.
