Description:
This is an actual "Gallery Gun", Winchester Model 62A chambered for .22 Short only. These were primarily produced for use at carnivals and fairs in short range shooting galleries. Also included are five vintage stamped Western Trademark Winchester speed loading tubes and a sealed box of rare vintage Western .22 short gallery special cartridges. The magazine tube in the Gallery Version model features a unique triangular shaped loading port which was designed to accommodate the pre-loaded ammo tubes for faster reloading. The wood and the bluing looks really good , no signs of rust or pitting. The original butt plate is in good shape. This rifle functions perfectly and has a clean bright bore with good rifling. This is the last of my collection . A great highly collectible combo for the price.
