Description:
This is a terrific Colt Police Positive Special with the 6” barrel and chambered in .38 Special. This gun was made in 1924 and has the deep-set medallion checkered walnut grips with the forward-facing Rampant Colt pony. These grips were only offered from 1922-1925 and are highly desirable. The gun remains in 99%+ condition and is in its original box with the shooting suggestions, cleaning brush that is still in the original paper tube, hangtag, and a copy of the advertising brochure for the Police Positive Special. The gun remains unfired and in the original box that remains in excellent condition and without any damage or broken corners. For a gun that is 96 years old, it is amazing. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
