Description:
A.H.Fox 12 gague XE grade built in Philadelphia in late 1917.This beautiful gun has a straight grip stock,Kautsky single selective trigger,ejectors,twin beads,and a 14" LOP over a leather covered pad.The barrels are 30" chromox steel and are choked modified (,020") and full (.040") with 23/4" chambers.The bores are mint and the barrels are on face and lock up with no play.The engraving is deep cut floral and game scenes.The barrels retains 95% of the original blue.The stock and forend are sound with no cracks or damage.This is a classic XE in original condition that would make a tremendous dove or pheasant gun and a great clays gun for vintage shoots.Nice enough to collect,but not too nice to enjoy.Cased in a leather luggage case.C&R eligible.
