Description:
This is the Iconic American .22 Semi Auto Rifle, made and sold for years by Savage/Stevens and under various brand names, including Springfield, etc. Back in the 50's and 60's you were a lucky kid to have one, and they were surprisingly accurate and functioned very well. This particular example is in excellent original condition and is equipped with a period 4x riflescope - probably was sold just that way when it was new. Still a great little rifle and chambered for .22 shorts, longs, and long rifle cartridges (unlike most of the .22 semi autos of today).
