Most all of the original thinning blue remains on the 24 inch round barrel with Marble 37W blade front sight, rear filler sight and a receiver mounted Lyman peep sight. Bright shiny bore. Receiver also retains most original blue with slight wear to the high points is silvered out on the bottom of the lever. Traces of case color on the hammer. Wood is in good condition with typical handling mars with a fair amount of original varnish remaining. Includes a leather sling and a well used canvas case. Factory letter states the caliber and receipt at the warehouse on October 8,1902, shipment on October 14,1902, and return for repair on April 23,1903. 5 round box magazine and a straight grip stock and a crescent rifle butt.
