Description:
A well preserved Colt 1ST Generation SAA Bisley in .38 WCF with 4 ¾ inch barrel that is more than 100 years old. This beauty was manufactured in 1902. The top of the barrel has the two line Hartford address with "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 W.C.F." on the left side and the two line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The finish retains some original blueing, on the barrle and cylendar. The frame has patina, consistent with the age of the firearn, The grip is fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. Colt manufactured approximately 44,350 Bisley revolvers from 1894 to 1915.The serial number for this Colt places year of manufacture to be 1902
