Description:
Very Early Smokeless Powder LC Smith Serial # RE 14xxx. 30inch barrels choked Imp Mod & Full. Scarce with Auto Ejectors. Been in my family for years. Been hunted a lot. Barrels retain an honest 90% Original Blue with a couple of small marks on right barrel that doesn't go through to the bore. Wood has a small crack behind the reveiver on the right side (pictured). Other small marks on the wood but nothing major outside of the crack. Very tight and hard to take down. Auto Ejectors work very well. Serial number dates this gun back to 1919 according to my reference books. Checkering is still very sharp. LOP is 15" to a Old English Pad. Bores are Very Good. Shot a lot of Pheasants with this gun. A fine old Smith that has lots of years left in it. Priced to Sell especially being a field model with the auto ejectors which are quite scarce. Traces of Case Colors on the Receiver. Just a good old solid shooter.
