#443594, A 416 Remington Magnum Full Custom on a Pre-64 Model 70 Action, 26" barrel, The barrel is a custom barrel, It is installed to an original 300 H&H or 375 H&H Model 70 action, The action was made in 1959, 1/4 rib that is integral to the front scope base, 1 standing rear sight, Band front ramp with a lock-on sight protector, Barrel band sling eye, Scope bases for Talley rings, The rear tang shaped to clover leaf with a blind rear guard screw, Model 70 wing safety, Model 70 trigger, Blackburn style Straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Built up and checkered bolt stop release, 4 panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, A very nice custom classic style stock with an excellent piece of English Walnut that borders on being an Exhibition stick of wood, It has deep black/brown contrast, Wrap around point pattern checkering that is well done, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Two screw steel grip cap, Double screw rear sling eye, Double crossbolts, Pillar bedded, Glass bedded, Nice inletting, 13 15/16" LOP over a 1" Decelerator pad, 9 lbs. 5 oz., The bore is excellent plus and remains as new, The original satin blue remains at 98%, The original stock finish at 96%, The checkering is at 100%, I can assure you this was not the stockers first attempt at custom stocking a bolt rifle. It has nice workmanship along with classic style, built very tough, nice metal work with a lot of detail and then top it off with a superb piece of wood. This is flat out a very good value at this price.
