Description:
This J. P. Sauer was made in 1960, and was professionally renovated about 3 years ago to literally as new condition.
The original length barrels are 28-1/4" long with 2-3/4" chambers. The barrels are choked .010" and .021".
The wood has been completely refinished with the checkering recut.
The barrels and receiver were rust blued. The remaining exterior metal parts have been nitre blued, including all screws.
Bores have been expertly honed on a Sunnen machine to give a mirror finish. The gun has extractors.
The LOP is 14-1/2" including a 1/2" extension which matches the recoil pad. The extension can be easily removed
by removing the two screws through the recoil pad, removing the extension, and replacing the recoil pad for a 14" LOP.
DAC is 1-1/2", DAH is 2-1/4", weight is 6 lbs. 10 ounces.
This is a wonderful, totally like new condition gun with very little use since its renovation.
