Description:
A very good looking old Blunderbuss with a brass barrel and furniture. Lock plate has the word "Lane". No other markings on the barrel except for a couple of proof marks. Brass is in very nice shape and was cleaned at some time. Numerous dings and usage marks but looks very nice. Lock plate is a grey/brown antique patina. Wood is in pretty good condition. It looks like a piece was added to the front to make a full stock. Original piece may have been broke? A few cracks here and there but overall condition would be considered VG. Action does cock. Trigger works. Frizen spring is good. Hammer spring is a bit weak but does work. Blunderbusses are always good for conversation and display. Especially pretty with the brass barrel.
