Pachmayr Decelerator pad lessens the recoil felt when shooting magnum cartridges. Checkered pattern on the stock provides a firm grasp. Pre'-64-style controlled round feed with claw extractor removes cartridges easily and consistently. Three-position safety has a middle position between fire and safe that locks the firing pin yet allows the bolt to be operated for added safety when checking the chamber or unloading.
