Description:
***SOLD*** US Eddystone Model of 1917 .30-06 Springfield bolt action WWI service rifle, imported by CAI. Though the M1917 is most notably a US MIlitary service rifle, this particular rifle was one of many M1917 rifles that were sent to various countries both during and after World War I for smaller militaries, home guard units, and reserve troops. The Eddystone features a design that mixes a SMLE and Mauser rifle design elements, to great a very unique, sturdy and handsome military rifle. This rifle made it back to the States via CAI, and it appears to have seen very little use overseas, and remains in excellent condition with only small scuffs from storage. The bolt is non-matching, as shown. The rifle even has its original cleaning kit, as shown in the photos. The action is smooth and the bore looks great. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. This rifle is a wonderful collectible, perfect for a US Military rifle or small arms collection!
