Description:
Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle chambered in .38-55, dated to 1904. This rifle features the classic and iconic Winchester 1894 lever action, designed by John Browning himself, and has established itself as the most common sporting rifle in the world. This particular rifle features a rich blued finish, with solid walnut furniture, as well as a rifle length round barrel and full length magazine tube. This 1894 is in very good overall condition for its age, sporting most of its original finish, with some areas of wear and finish loss on areas of the receiver and signs of age, as shown in the photos. The action is smooth and tight, hammer and trigger are fully operable, and the bore has sharp rifling with a brilliant surface. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle. This is a very nice example of an early 1894, in a very desirable caliber.
