Savage model 99R in 300 Savage. Built in 1954,this rifle is in excellent original condition.It retains 98% of the original blue and wood finish.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The 24" medium contour barrel has a mint bore.Features include a lever safety,cartridge counter,hand checkered walnut stock and forend,factory drilled and tapped for scope pr peep sight,factory sling studs,case colored lever,and a factory steel buttplate.The 99R was marketed by Savage as their "heavy rifle".It has a slightly wider forend and buttstock and the medium countour barrel.This would make a great all purpose big game rifle.A classic you can use.C&R eliglble
