Description:
Winchester, Mdl 70 Super Grade, Featherweight, 30.06 Springfield, highly figured walnut high comb checkered stock, ebony forend tip, rare special order Pre-64 Winchester mdl. 70 Featherweight, only 930 Super Grade Featherweights were produced, these rifles combined the Super Grade with a slim tapered free bedded 22" barrel to reduce weight, magazine cover, hinge plate and trigger guard bow are aluminum except for plastic buttplate, rifle weight 6 3/4 lbs., receiver has matte blue finish, straight tang and tapped for sight;scope mounting, jewelled bolt and extractor. It appears to have not been refinished or reblued. Over all condition is 95% with light handling marks. With box and papers. This is a rare and desirable model 70 rifle, collectable.
