Description:
winchester 70 heavy varmint 22-250. short action push feed, 26"stainless steel barrel. it was rumored that winchester used wilson barrels for this series of model 70's. they were built between 1992-1994. the stock is HS free floated with marksman contour. the action fits into a aluminium bedding block. this model was known for their quality and accuracy. i bought it around 2010, enjoyed working up loads and it hasn't been shot since. it just sets im my safe. i'm 73 and don't hunt varmints so i really have no use for it. the condition is excellent. the blue is slighty faded undr the talley bases but otherwise looks new. same with the stock. you can see the accuracy potential in the two targets show. they were shot at 100 yds. the rings and bases are talley and the sight is a LEUPOLD VX 3 6.5-20. the scope looks as new. if you would rather not buy the scope deduct $400. i am not a FFL. it will be sent to your FFL and i will include a bill of sale and a copy of my drivers license. your FFL can either mail or email me a copy of their FFL. shipping $50 and limited to the lower 48 states. payment by bank/certified check or personal check. if personal check i will wait 10 days from payment to ship to allow check to clear.
