Description:
An absolute gem of a shotgun and among the very best I have had of this style. This is a quite scarce 12 gauge Winchester Model 12 Super Field sometimes referred to as Special Field or even Super Grade. S/N 1783*** made in 1958. It is basically identical to a Skeet Grade from the same period, but was available with various chokes other than Skeet and a solid matted rib barrel instead of a vented rib. The overall condition is superb at 99% Blue and 99% Varnish. The wood is just beautiful with rich color and light figure throughout. It wears a 28" modified barrel with a mirror bore. 2 3/4" chamber. Mechanics are like new. A truly exceptional and untouched example that would be nearly impossible to upgrade.
