Very fine Isaac Hollis and Sons Cased Pattern 1853 Officers rifle-musket. Outstanding example with approximately 95-97% original finish. Barrel is marked Isaac Hollis & Sons, makers to Her Majesty’s War Department. Lock is marked “J. Aston Aythe". Hammer, trigger guard, lock and butt plate have scroll engraving and most of their original case colors. Stock is finely checkered. Checkering is sharp, except for a minor area on forearm, otherwise it’s excellent. Case has Isaac Hollis and Sons Label on the inside. A rare beautiful cased Enfield rifle-musket.
