The serial number is on top of the slide and on the barrel hood. It is not present on the receiver, as the Argentine’s added that number upon receipt. This appears to be a scarce variation which remains unmarked. These pistols were shipped to Argentina during 1940-1950. It includes the Argentine Crest on top of the slide, proper wood grips and, a pinned base 2 tone magazine. S/N 392x .
