Marlin 1889 rifle in .38-40 caliber with 24” octagon barrel. The metal has a good looking brown patina with blue in protected areas. The stock is very good with some nicks and scratches, and a small crack in the forend. The bore is very good with strong rifling and frosted in the grooves. A nice example of an old West Marlin.
