AMES U.S. MODEL 1833 FOOT ARTILLERY SWORD DATED 1841 W/ SCABBARD & RARE 1ST TYPE BUFF BELT AND “US” BUCKLE. Early dated sword of the Seminole Wars era in excellent condition and all original. Finest early Model 1833 all original complete we know of. Sword with the original polish on blade and fine Ames markings and “1841” date stamp. Excellent scabbard. Ultra rare belt, frog and two piece “US” brass buckle. Back of frog marked in old original “NO 5/RUDD”. Only a handful of surviving known examples of these 1st type belts exist and it is in superb condition. 100% original in every respect.
