Description:
As far as I can tell, this 1945 manufactured pistol is original in every way. It has not been rebuilt or refinished. It comes with a G-marked General Shaver WWII magazine. The blued barrel is marked HS for High Standard, the subcontractor for Remington Rand on the right side of the lug, and a P proof mark on the left side of the lug. There is another P proof mark on the top of the slide near the rear sight. The FJA inspector's mark is on the left side of the frame by the trigger guard and a faint crossed cannons cartouche on the right rear of the frame. The pistol shows use wear overall, but a lot of original finish remains and the bore remains clean and bright with good rifling. The gun works flawlessly mechanically.
