Description:
Remo 16 GA SXS retailed by Hoflieferant. The barrels are 29 3/4" long and choked full and a tight modified. The bores are bright and shiny with the possibility of a minor blemish, not a dent, in one tube. Don’t have a bore scope to be able to check it out but it really is nothing. The gun weighs 5 pounds 15 ounces. There is a Greener style cross bolt. The gun locks up tight and is on face. The gun appears to never been taking apart. There is a crack in the horn trigger guard where it joins the receiver. The LOP is 13 1/2" over a Remo marked horn butt plate. The wood, and for that matter the entire gun, has never been refinished. There are no cracks or old repairs but there are use and hunting marks in the wood and some minor slivering at the forend, it is pictured. I have cleaned a couple of spots on the barrels so you can see what is under the old dirt and grime. The receiver is coin finish. My opinion is this is a higher quality mid-grade gun.
